Ingredients to make Cheesy Paneer cone

  • wheat flour 1/2 cup
  • semolina 1/2 cup
  • Soaked bengal gram whole 1/4 cup
  • salt
  • For Filling
  • paneer 250gm
  • potato 1 small cooked and smashed
  • Cheese 100 gms
  • ginger garlic paste 1 table spoon
  • fennel seeds 1pinch
  • Kaskas 1 pinch
  • coriander powder 2 tea spoon
  • Chilly powder 1 tea spoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tea spoon
  • Gram masala 1/4 tea spoon
  • coriander leaves chopped 3 table spoon
  • onion 1 big
  • tomato 1 big

How to make Cheesy Paneer cone

  1. Grind soaked Bengal gram nicely
  2. Put it in a bowl and mix with wheat flour , semolina and salt.
  3. Keep the dough aside for 30 minutes
  4. After 30 minutes roll the dough very very thin and cut it in stripes
  5. Using a cone maker make the strips to a cone
  6. Fry the cone in low flame
  7. Make cones with the dough
  8. To prepare filling, in a Kadai heat 2 table spoon oil and add fennel seed and kaskas
  9. Add ginger garlic paste and finely chopped onion and saute it nicely
  10. Add finely chopped tomato and saute nicely
  11. Add all spices and saute for two more minutes
  12. Add mashed potato
  13. Add chopped Paneer and cook for 1 minute
  14. Add grated cheese and chopped coriander leaves and salt
  15. Switch off flame
  16. Fill this mixture in the cone fully and with the dough make a very thin disc to close the mouth of the cone
  17. Fry the lid of the cone by dipping it in oil upside down
  18. Note: each strip used to make cone should be sealed thoroughly on all sides with maida paste. The lid disc should also be sealed thoroughly
  19. Serve hot

My Tip:

If you don't have cone maker just take a piece of aluminium sheet and make it in cone shape and use it as cone maker
