Chaat is very famous street food and served in many varieties.Cone chaat is one of the my own way to serve normal chaat in innovative way. Little crispy and tasty too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For cone :
  2. Wheat flour 1 cup
  3. Maida 1/2 cup
  4. White corn flour 1/2
  5. Salt 2/3 pinch
  6. Ajwain 1/4 tsp
  7. Oil approx for moin
  8. For filling of chaat
  9. Bikaneri sev 2 tbs
  10. Aloo sev 2 tbs
  11. Daalmooth 2 tbs
  12. Chana daal 2 tbs
  13. Namkin bundi 2 tbs
  14. chaat Masala as your taste
  15. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  16. Chopped onions 1
  17. Chopped tomato 1
  18. Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tbs
  19. Lemon juice 1 or as your taste
  20. Mint leaves for garnish


  1. Keep ready all ingredients. Wheat flour maida flour white corn flour salt ajwain and oil.
  2. Add all ingredients for dough one by one.
  3. Now mix flour well.
  4. You need enough oil for moin.
  5. Make semi soft dough like puri. Adding water little by little.
  6. Make three equal part from it. You get 7/8 cones from this balls.
  7. Roll thin chapati from the balls.
  8. Now prick it and give cut like stripes on chapati.
  9. Take a first large strip and roll on the bottom of cone . You can prick it before rolling or after rolling .
  10. Now take another strip and start rolling on the end of last strip.
  11. Keep rolling one by one.
  12. Stick one by one stripes on cone till it covered completely.
  13. Now your cone is covered with stripes.
  14. Now in the end again prick it and press it with soft hand or roll on flat surface. Don't press it forcefully.
  15. Keep ready your cone for deep fry.
  16. Take a kadhai for deep fry add oil and keep on flame for simmer.
  17. When oil is hot now add cone one by one in hot oil for deep fry.
  18. Keep slow flame while you deep fry and be careful.
  19. When one side is look like little golden brown then turn it carefully with the help of spatula.
  20. When it done both side your cone is ready. Now it's time to take out cones.
  21. Now take out all cones carefully from the kadhai.
  22. After 5 minute remove the cone from mould carefully.
  23. Now your cone is ready for filling.
  24. Take one bowl add all ingredients of filling and mix well.
  25. Take your cone fill the mixture and serve in your style.
