Its a very easy tasty & healthy side dish to be served along with some roti.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Button mushrooms 100 gm
  2. 2 big size onion [chopped]
  3. Mustard oil 2 tbsp
  4. Rai [mustard seeds] for tadka 1/2tsp
  5. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt to taste


  1. Heat some oil in a pan, when heated, add mustard seeds.
  2. Then add the chopped onion and saute for sometime.
  3. When the onions are translucent, add the diced button mushrooms.
  4. Add the powdered masalas, and salt.
  5. Mix everything together and cook for sometime. Do not add any extra water, serve hot.
