ABOUT Tiranga Pulao RECIPE

In this dish you will get the flavour of onions rice,spinach rice and tomates rice.it is basically inspired by tri colour of the flag.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2cups rice
  2. 3 onions (chopped)
  3. 250gm Spinach [boiled and blended into a paste]
  4. 1 cup tomates (pureed)
  5. 1 Spoon ginger garlic chilli paste
  6. Salt to taste
  7. oil
  8. Half cup Cream


  1. Cook the rice with some salt, till it is half done.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan, put onions and saute it for few mins. Add ginger garlic chilli paste. Add cream and salt. cook for few seconds
  3. Divide the rice in 3 equal parts. Divide onions that we had cooked before in 3 equal parts as well.
  4. In a kadhai, add onions after few min, add spinach & cook for few seconds, now add rice. keep it aside.
  5. In the same kadhi , add onions and then the tomato puree, after few mins add cooked rice.
  6. In the container, add rice and sauteed onions, mix it well.
  7. Take a baking tray, layer the spinach rice, tomato rice and then the plain rice, and bake for 5 minutes.
