Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Herring fish 4 steak
  2. For Marinade
  3. Ginger 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoon
  6. Olive oil 2 tablespoon
  7. Wild celery (radhuni in Bengali) 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Kasundi mustard 1 tablespoon
  9. Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
  10. salt as per taste
  11. chilly flakes 1 tablespoon


  1. Mix all the ingredients under marinade.
  2. Rub the fish steaks with the marinade well and keep for 1-2 hours.
  3. Heat the grill pan to smoking hot then place the fish and grill from both sides.
  4. Takes about 10 minutes on medium flame.
  5. Serve hot.

Looks good! Is Kasundi methi and kasuri methi same? If not what is the difference?
