ABOUT Rice and Potato kofta curry for your kids. ( Go different ) RECIPE

I have made Aaloo Kofta many times. So here i have added Rice too. And believe me it tasted Yumm.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cooked rice 1 cup
  2. Potato 2 ( large)
  3. Beet root steamed and grated 1/2 cup.
  4. Corn flour 2 gram tbsp
  5. Gram flour 1 tbsp ( if needed)
  6. Cheese grated 3 cubes.( 1/4 to 1/2 cup).
  7. Garlic crushed 1 tsp
  8. Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Parseley dried 1 tsp
  10. Green chilli paste to taste.
  11. Oil for shallow frying
  12. For curry.
  13. Onion 3 large
  14. Tomato 3 large
  15. Almonds blanched 10 no.
  16. Cashew 10 no.
  17. Salt, turmeric to taste
  18. Dhania powder 1 tsp
  19. Garam masaala 1 tsp
  20. Kasoori Methi 1 tsp
  21. garlic paste 1 tsp
  22. Zeera 1/2 tsp
  23. Tej patta for seasoning
  24. Oil for seasoning 1 tsp
  25. Fresh cream / malai. 2 tbsp
  26. Coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tsp
  27. Sugar to taste ( optional ).

Instructions

  1. Boil or steam potatoes.
  2. In another pan boil 2 cups water , add Onions, Tomatoes, Almonds and Cashew.
  3. Turn off gas and leave in hot water for 10 minutes
  4. Now peel and mash the Potatoes and mix well with mashed cooked Rice.
  5. Add Grated Cheese, flours and all masala. Mix well but don't over mix.
  6. Now make koftas of your desired shape and shallow fry in oil. Let the oil get soaked on absorbent paper.
  7. Now take out Onions Tomatoes and Almond, Cashew and blend well.
  8. Heat oil in nonstick pan. Add blended mix and saute.
  9. Add all masala to it and fry till oil leaves the sides of the pan.
  10. Add required amount of water you need for gravy. Turn the gas off once done.
  11. In a bowl serve Kofta and pour your Makhani gravy on it. Garnish with coriander leaves and fresh cream.
  12. Enjoy with Paratha / Naan / Roti.
