ABOUT Stir fried shelled Shrimp with Fried Rice RECIPE

Fried rice on its own is an awesome meal.And its divine when paired with prawns.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For stir fried shrimp:
  2. 12 medium shrimps,de - veined with shell on
  3. 3 tsp Chilli powder
  4. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  5. Salt
  6. For fried rice :
  7. Basmati rice 2 cups
  8. 5 shallots finely chopped
  9. 2 green chilli finely chopped
  10. 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  11. 1/4 cup Cabbage shredded
  12. 1/4 cup carrot
  13. 2 beans chopped finely
  14. 1/2 capsicum sliced
  15. 250 g chicken cooked with salt & pepper
  16. 2 Eggs
  17. Coriander leaves finely chopped
  18. Soy sauce
  19. 1/2 tsp sugar
  20. Salt
  21. Spring onion to garnish

Instructions

  1. First stir fry the prawns with 1 tbsp of oil,until it gets cooked.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Next cook the rice with salt and set it aside.
  4. Pour 1 tbsp of oil in a wok pan.
  5. Add shallots,garlic & chilli.
  6. Saute for couple of minutes.
  7. Add sugar and mix well.
  8. Add the veggies except the capsicum and stir.
  9. Drop in the egg & scramble.
  10. Add in chicken and soy sauce together & give a nice stir.
  11. Adjust salt.
  12. Add coriander leaves.
  13. Slowly mix in the cooked rice until it coats well with the veggies.
  14. Garnish with spring onion.
  15. Pair it with the stir fried shrimps.Slurp
