Ingredients to make khoba Roti

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • salt
  • water as required

How to make khoba Roti

  1. In a bowl mix wheat flour , cumin seeds , salt and ghee and rub it.
  2. Now add water gradually and make stiff dough .
  3. Roll thick rotis on rolling pin .
  4. pinch it with plucker or pincer in between on one side only .
  5. After doing keep pinch side on top of nonstick and cook.
  6. cook on very low flame , it takes 6 minutes and more to cook one side.
  7. Now cook another side upto 34 minutes.
  8. Remove from nonstick keep on flame directly for minute above side will pinched side.
  9. switch off flame pour ghee on it goes with many sabjis.

My Tip:

Keep khoba roti thick as we have to pinch it or else it will break . Cook on low flame only.
