Ingredients to make sooji upma

  • sooji 100 gms
  • boiled green peas 2tsp
  • 1tsp cashewnuts
  • 12 tsp rai ,jeera and urad dal
  • 2tsp ghee
  • 4-5 curry patta leaves
  • 1chopped onion
  • 1chopped tomatoe
  • 1green chilly finely chopped
  • 200 ml boiled water
  • 1tsp peanuts
  • chopped corriander leaves

How to make sooji upma

  1. take a deep pan
  2. add ghee let it become hot
  3. add rai,jeera ,peanuts ,urad dal
  4. as it crackel add curry patta ,cashewnuts
  5. saute for one minute
  6. add green chilly
  7. add onions ,saute
  8. add sooji and roast till it gets golden color
  9. now add boiled water and cook
  10. till sooji absorbes water
  11. add boiled peas
  12. add tomatoe and salt as per taste
  13. add 12 tsp of ghee
  14. garnish with corriander and serve hot

My Tip:

To make more royal we can add dry fruits to it
