Ingredients to make Kharbooj Shikran

  • 1 ripe melon
  • Powdered sugar 1 Tsp
  • Eliachi powder 1 tsp

How to make Kharbooj Shikran

  1. This is a very easy recipe.When you have nothing to eat with chapati this is quite helpful
  2. Wash a melon and cut into half
  3. Make small cuts with a knife or spoon in edges on inside and Mix the pulp and stir vigorously
  4. Alternatively you can chop melon pieces in a bowl and stir vigorously so that it leaves water and become liquid.
  5. You may add sugar if it is not naturally sweet.Adding sugar makes it jucier
  6. Add cardamom powder and garnish with dryfruit pieces.I used crushed badam and peeled melon seeds available in the market.

My Tip:

If melon is raw ,then grate it in a bowl ,add sugar mix and serve. I did the whole process in one half of the melon and served in it too.
