ABOUT Malai peda RECIPE

Everyone loves peda, the little delicious sweeties for every occasion

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Lime juice - 2 tbsp
  2. Cornflour - 1 tsp
  3. Milk - 1/2 cup
  4. Milk powder - 1 tbsp
  5. Condensed milk - 1 tin (400 gm)
  6. Ghee - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together to form a smooth paste without any lumps.
  2. Heat this mixture in a heavy bottomed pan or a nonstick pan on a low flame.
  3. Cook till the mixture leaves it's sides, it takes about 25-30 minutes.
  4. Cool it and shape them into small pedas and use any stencil for the design or peda stamps.
