Ingredients to make Duddhi thepla

  • Half small size grated bottle gourd
  • salt to tate
  • haldi a pinch
  • red chilli pwd half tsp
  • coriander leaves chopped handfull
  • Ajwain 1/4tsp
  • Zeera1/2tsp
  • ghee 2tbsp
  • curd 1 tbsp
  • water very less amt
  • Oil or ghee for shallow frying
  • curd n chatni for serving
  • wheat flour 1 small cup

How to make Duddhi thepla

  1. In bowl add wheat flour,dudhi grated,salt,red chilli pwd,ghee,curd,zeera ,ajwain ,haldi,coriander leaves.
  2. Then knead the semi soft dough.
  3. Add water only if required.
  4. As duddhi too leaves water.
  5. Rest for 5 mins.
  6. Roll the roti shape.
  7. Shallow fry on tawa adding ghee or oil.
  8. Serve hot with curd n chatni.
