Ingredients to make Vegetable Jalfrazie

  • 1 yellow capsicum
  • 1 green capsicum
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 carrot grated or chopped
  • 1/4 cup peas
  • 1/4 cup cauliflower florets
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped french beans
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chilly powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon ginger- garlic paste
  • 1 green chilly
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon oil

How to make Vegetable Jalfrazie

  1. Heat oil in a pan.Add onions and saute for 4-5 minutes.Now blend tomatoes in a blender to make puree.Add puree into the same pan.
  2. Stir and add ginger-garlic paste, salt,red chilly powder,garam masala and turmeric powder.Stir well.
  3. Now add cauliflower,peas,beans,capsicum and carrot.Reduce the flame and add water.Cover and cook till vegetables become tender.
  4. Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve hot with chappatis .

My Tip:

Its very important to soften the vegetables.If u think that the water is less,then you can add some more water but then cover the lid for some more time so that the extra water gets evaporated.
