Seven Cup Burfi or Seven cupcake is the very easy and simple burfi or sweet variety with excellent taste. It gives a similar taste of Mysorepak with coconut. As the name says it is made of 7 cup of ingredients. It is most suitable sweet for Diwali and many occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. besan flour 1 cup
  2. Ghee 1 cup
  3. Milk 1 cup
  4. Grated coconut 1 cup
  5. Sugar 3 cups


  1. Grease the plate or any cake tray with ghee. Measure all ingredients and keep ready.
  2. Dry Roast the besan flour in a heavy bottom pan. Once the raw smell goes add the coconut and form a mixture of crumbled texture.
  3. Then add the milk and ghee and mix well without lumps.
  4. Add the Sugar to it and mix well. Once you start cooking with sugar it releases more water .
  5. Then it starts boiling. Once it starts to leave the sides and form a frothy layer. Then you can turn off the flame.
  6. Now pour it in the greased plate and allow it to cool for five minutes. Then cut into desired shape and allow to cool completely.  
  7. Then take the pieces out and then store in an airtight container.
