Golpapdi or Sukhdi

Ingredients to make Golpapdi or Sukhdi

  • 2 cups wheatflour
  • 2 tbsp ghee (I have used homemade)
  • 1cup finely chopped jaggery
  • 1/2 tsp elaichi powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped badam and pistachio flakes

How to make Golpapdi or Sukhdi

  1. In heavy bottom pan add ghee
  2. Let ghee become warm
  3. Now add wheatflour
  4. Roast on slow flame till the flour turns golden and a nice aroma comes. Turn off the heat
  5. Add jaggery and mix properly
  6. Add cardamom powder
  7. Mix and spread it in greased plate
  8. Sprinkle badam and pistachio flakes
  9. Cut into desired shape and cool it
  10. Serve

My Tip:

To make more healthy add badam flour while roasting wheatflour
