Ingredients to make Hershey's Halwa

  • 1 cup semolina/sooji/rava
  • 2 tbsp Pure ghee
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Cups water
  • 1/2 cup Hersheys chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 cup blanched and chopped almonds
  • Few raisins

How to make Hershey's Halwa

  1. Roast Semolina in a pan.
  2. Now heat ghee , add semolina and roast further. Add sugar
  3. Add the raisins and almonds too
  4. To this add water slowly, stirring well
  5. Once the mixture starts bubbling add Hersheys syrup ,mix well, cover.
  6. Place pan on the tava and cook for 5-8 minutes or till done. Serve hot garnished with dry fruits

My Tip:

Add choco syrup kept at room temperature. Keep on a tava on low flame and give a baked effect
