A different raita from the usual ones

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Grated Pumpkin- 1 cup
  2. Curd - 1 & 1/2 cup
  3. Mustard seeds - 1 / 2 tsp
  4. Garlic - 1 pod
  5. Green chilly - 1 finely chopped
  6. Coriander leaves for garnish
  7. Baby onions - 3 to 4 chopped small ( optional )
  8. Roasted peanuts powdered - 2 tbsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  11. Roasted jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  12. Oil - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Peel the pumpkin & wash it....Then grate it
  2. Grated Pumpkin
  3. In the meantime dry roast the peanuts & powder them later.
  4. Now in a kadai put oil & when hot add mustard seeds & after they crackle add chopped garlic & green chilly. Saute for a minute.
  5. Then add the grated pumpkin & cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Turn off the gas.When cool add all the other ingredients and mix well.
  7. Put in a bowl & serve chilled with rice or roti
  8. Ready to be served...
