ABOUT Pumpkin raita RECIPE

A perfect raita to be served with pulao or even some parathas and curry.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Pumpkin grated 1/4
  2. Buttermilk of 1cup curd
  3. Cumin seeds1/2tsp
  4. mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Curry leaves little
  7. Asafoetida a pinch
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil 2tsp

Instructions

  1. Grate pumkin and half boil it in water.sieve it .
  2. Press with your hands to remove excess water.
  3. Make buttermilk of curd by adding water.add salt to it .add the grated boiled pumpkin in it.
  4. For the tempering In a pan heat oil crackle cumin mustard seeds Curry leaves
  5. Add red chilli powder,jeera methi dry powder asafoetida .
  6. Pour the tempering over the raita.
