Carrot Stuffed Gujiya

Ingredients to make Carrot Stuffed Gujiya

  • 250 gms carrots grated
  • 1/2 kg maida
  • 1/2 litre milk
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped dry fruits 
  • 2 spoon ghee for Moyan
  • 1 bowl lukewarm milk
  • oil for frying

How to make Carrot Stuffed Gujiya

  1. Firstly put grated carrots in milk and cook on low flame stirring continuously
  2. After 15 minutes it gets thickened. Now add powdered Sugar, dry fruits and mix it nicely. 
  3. Meanwhile, take Maida and 2 tablespoons ghee knead the dough with the help of lukewarm milk.
  4. Then with the help of rolling pin and board make Puri with the dough. 
  5. Then put carrot halwa in the center and closed it and shape like Gujiya.
  6. Made all Gujiya like this and deep fry it.
  7. Serve

My Tip:

Make carrot halwa totally dry.
