Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 200 grams/2 cups Sabu dana
  2. 100 grams peanuts
  3. 2 -3 tblspn oil or ghee as per choice
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1 tspn Zeera/cummin seeds
  6. 2-3 green chillies
  7. 1 Small bunch of coriander

Instructions

  1. Soak Sabu dana with water enough to just cover it for overnight or at least 8 hours
  2. Roast peanuts. Rub and remove the skin and pound it coarsely
  3. Heat oil in a kadai and splutter zeera and green chillies
  4. Sprinkle the salt now and add the soaked sabu dana ,mix well
  5. Cover cook 5 minutes
  6. Chop coriander and add to the khichadi
  7. Add peanuts. Serve hot and fresh
