ABOUT Fish Biriyani RECIPE

Autentic fish rice made with jeera samba.. quick recipe with left-over fish fry.. kids friendly. My 2 yr old toddler love this.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Fish slice 2/3( sheer fish or any fish with less bone)
  2. Rice 1 cup (preferably jeera samba)
  3. Onion 1 chopped
  4. Tomato 1 chopped
  5. Green chilli 1-2 (depends)
  6. Ginger garlic paste 1 tspn
  7. Curry masala 1 tspn
  8. Garam masala 1/2 tspn
  9. Chilli powder 1/2 tspn+ 14 tspn
  10. Turmeric Powder 1/2tspn
  11. Mustard sees 1/4 tspn
  12. Fennel seeds 1/2 tspn
  13. Bay leaf 1
  14. Star anise 1
  15. Cloves 1
  16. Cinnamon 1
  17. Coriander leaves ( Garnish)

Instructions

  1. In pan add oil and shallow fry fish and keep aside
  2. In same pan add oil, fennel seeds , bay leaf, star anise, curry leaf nd sauté
  3. Add ginger , garlic nd sauté for for 2sec
  4. Add green chilli, onion, tomato nd sauté for 2-3 mins
  5. Add salt
  6. Add curry masala, chilli powder( as per taste) and sauté till raw smell goes..
  7. Add fish (remove bone) and cook for few mins and add rice.. garnish with coriander leaves..
