Ingredients to make Banana loaf cake

  • Mashed banana - 1 cup
  • maida - 2 cup
  • eggs - 4
  • butter - 1 cup
  • Baking powder- 1.5 tsp
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • Coco powder - 1 tbsp
  • Caramelized sugar syrup-1 tbsp

How to make Banana loaf cake

  1. 1. Whisk the butter and sugar till fluffy.
  2. 2. Separate the egg whites and yolks. Whisk the egg whites till it forms soft peaks.
  3. 3. Whisk the egg yolks into the butter and sugar mix.
  4. 4. Now add the mashed banana, vanilla essence, caramelized sugar syrup and whisk.
  5. 5. Sieve in the flour, coco powder and baking powder into the egg mix. Fold it in.
  6. 6. Now finally fold in the egg whites into the batter.
  7. 7. Pour this into a greased loaf tin, bake it at 180 degree Celsius in a preheated oven for 45 minutes. Cool and serve.
