Ingredients to make Banana jalebi

  • Ripe banana 2
  • sooji 1/2cup
  • Refined flour 1/2 cup
  • curd 1/4cup
  • besan 1tablespoon
  • Yello colour 1pinch
  • water as required
  • Soda 1/2tsp
  • Pista , chironji to garnish
  • Ingredients for sugar syrup
  • sugar 2cup
  • water 3/4cup
  • Cardmom powder 1/4tsp
  • Kewara warer 1tsp

How to make Banana jalebi

  1. Take banana and peel them , put in the blender with curd grind it and make a smooth paste
  2. Take a big bowl mix sooji maida sieve soda and besan and mix well add curd banana paste and water make a flowy batter. Keep for 30 min to rest .
  3. After 30 min once the batter becomes quite thick check the consistency of the batter if needed, add little water
  4. Now fill the batter in the piping bag or any cone with little big hoke. I use star nozzle and make round jalebi in the hot oil on a medium flame
  5. Like this make all jalebies
  6. Mean while make sugar syrup for this take a wok add water sugar elaichi powder in this and make single strand syrup. Add kewra water in this and keep aside. When jalebi become crisp take it out from the oil and soak in sugar syrup for 5 mins
  7. Take it out and garnish it with pista and chirongi. Serve with kesariya curd.

My Tip:

U can use over ripe banana too
