Stuffed raw bananas

Ingredients to make Stuffed raw bananas

  • 6 - Raw bananas
  • 2- medium sized onions grated
  • 1 tbsp- lemon juice
  • 1 tsp- salt
  • 1/2 tsp - haldi
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp - amchoor powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp- sambar powder

How to make Stuffed raw bananas

  1. Peel the bananas wash and cut into two. Keep them in water or they will turn black(add juice of one lemon to the water to avoid them from turning black )
  2. Slit them each without separating them. Grate onions and add salt, haldi, garam masala, amchoor, red chilli powder and sambar powder .
  3. Remove from water one by one, pat dry and fill all the pieces with the onion mixture we prepared earlier. You have to be careful while doing this as raw bananas tend to break
  4. Now microwave them for two minutes
  5. Take mustard oil in a flat bottom pan and let the oil heat up, simmer the flame and put all the bananas pieces into it. Cover and let it cook
  6. Keep changing its sides. Cook till they become soft. Now increase the flame and roast for two three minutes with continuous stirring but be a little careful
  7. It's ready. Serve with chapatis or plain parathas, daal or any raita.

My Tip:

Microwave them so that they get cooked quickly.
