Raw Banana Kebabs

Ingredients to make Raw Banana Kebabs

  • Raw bananas. 4-5
  • Sabut dana or sago. 1/2 cup (soaked)
  • Kuttu atta/ singhara atta. 2 tbsp
  • ginger. 1/2inch
  • green chillies. 2-3 chopped
  • amchur pwd. 1 tsp
  • jeera pwd. 1/2 tsp
  • Vrat salt (saindha namak) as per taste
  • peanuts a Few
  • oil. 2 tbsp

How to make Raw Banana Kebabs

  1. Boil and mash raw bananas.
  2. Churn sabut dana in a mixer.
  3. Add ginger and green chillies to banana.
  4. Mix sabut dana and kuttu atta.
  5. Add amchur pwd, jeera pwd and salt.
  6. Mix everything well.
  7. Take some oil in palm and roll out some banana mix.
  8. Make a depression in between and put a seekh. Cover it.
  9. Keep it in fridge for half an hour. This is very important because than the kababs will have least moisture and they will be crisp.
  10. Put some oil in a pan and place your kababs on it. Saute it till they are golden brown from all sides.
  11. If you do not have seekh than give any shape to your kababs.

My Tip:

I like to serve these with a chutney. Take 3/4 cup coriander leaves, 1/4 cup curry leaves, green chillies and jeera pwd. Blend it. Take out and add salt and lemon juice.
