Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups boiled and mashed raw bananas
  2. You can take 4 raw bananas for this quantity
  3. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  4. 1 tbsp finely chopped greenchillies
  5. 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
  6. 1 tbsp finely chopped Coriander leaves
  7. 1 tbsp bhune chane ka powder
  8. 1 tsp tandoori masala
  9. 1/2 amchur powder
  10. 1/2 tsp chaat masala + some to sprinkle on top
  11. Salt to taste
  12. 2 tbsp fried onions
  13. 1 - 2 tsp oil for brushing the kebabs
  14. 4 skewers , soaked in water for 15 minutes before use
  15. FOR THE CREAMY MINT DIP
  16. 2 tbsp Hung curd
  17. 1/4 tsp garlic paste
  18. 2 tbsp mint leaves and greenchillies paste
  19. 1/2 tsp lime juice
  20. Pinch of sugar
  21. Salt to taste
  22. FOR CARAMALISED ONION RINGS
  23. Onion rings of one onion
  24. 1 tsp oil
  25. 1/2 tsp sugar
  26. Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. FOR THE MIXTURE
  2. In a big utensil put some water
  3. Place this utensil on high flame
  4. Add raw bananas and boil them
  5. Cook them until becomes soft
  6. You can test it with a knife whether it is cooked or not
  7. When done take them out in a plate
  8. When completely cools down then peel them and mash them
  9. Now add finely chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, coriander, chaat masala, amchur powder, tandoori masala, bhune chane ka powder, salt and fried onions
  10. Mix nicely with your hands, so that no lumps remain
  11. In the meantime soak the skewers in water
  12. Now make equal size balls from the mixture
  13. Give them the shape of a cylinder
  14. Now insert a skewer in between the cylinder
  15. Stick it nicely to the skewer, by pressing it with your fingers
  16. Heat a tawa or pan and place the ready skewers
  17. Brush some oil on the kebabs
  18. Roast them, by turning them at regular intervals
  19. Roast them until becomes brown from all the sides
  20. When done take them out in a serving plate
  21. Serve them with creamy mint dip and caramalised onion rings
  22. FOR THE CREAMY MINT DIP
  23. In a bowl mix all the ingredients together
  24. Blend well, the dip is ready
  25. FOR CARAMALISED ONION RINGS
  26. Heat a tsp of oil in a pan
  27. Add onion rings, salt and sugar
  28. Roast them on medium heat, by turning them at regular intervals
  29. Roast them until becomes brown
