Ingredients to make Sooji Cheese Pops

  • 1 cup suji/rawa/semolina
  • 2 cup water
  • oil 1 tsp
  • Rai+kadi patta+urad daal for tempering
  • salt pepper to taste
  • chopped green chilly
  • oil for frying
  • Chopped cheese 3-4 cubes
  • milk half cup
  • Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
  • Chopped hara dhaniya

How to make Sooji Cheese Pops

  1. Heat oil in pan. Add urad daal, rai and 4-5 kadi patta.
  2. Add suji, salt and pepper cook for 2 mins.
  3. Add hot water and cook till batter thickens.
  4. Switch off the flame and take suji mixture in a thali a knead for few mins till it gets smooth.
  5. Take small balls from the dough and stuff cheese in middle cover carefully.
  6. Dip balls in milk and cover in bread crumbs.
  7. Deep fry in hot oil till it gets crisp.
  8. Serve hot with sauce and chutney.

My Tip:

You can keep these balls in fridge for 24 hrs. Fry when needed.
