Ingredients to make Falahari pattice

  • For the coating:-
  • potatoes-6
  • Arrowroot flour-2 tbsp
  • rock salt
  • For the filling:-
  • Grated coconut-6 tbsp
  • Crushed peanuts-3 tbsp
  • lemon Juice-1 tbsp
  • coriander leaves-2 tbsp
  • sugar-1&1/2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • ginger green chilli paste-1 tbsp
  • To serve:-
  • Sweet curd
  • khajur Imli chutney
  • coriander peanut chutney
  • Roasted cumin Powder

How to make Falahari pattice

  1. Boil the potatoes. Grate the peeled potatoes.
  2. Add arrowroot flour and salt.
  3. Knead a dough by mixing this well.
  4. Prepare all stuffing ingredients.
  5. Now prepare stuffing by mixing grated coconut, roasted and ground peanuts, lemon juice, ginger green chilli paste, salt, sugar.
  6. Now mix everything properly.
  7. Take the dough we prepared for covering. Take a ball from this dough and press with hands to form a bowl shape.
  8. Put a spoon of filling in this.
  9. Seal from all sides to form a ball again. Similarly prepare all balls.
  10. Now take arrowroot flour in a plate and roll these balls in it.
  11. Coat all balls.
  12. Now heat oil and fry on medium heat.
  13. Fry till golden brown.
  14. Now lets serve these hot pattice.
  15. Flatten the pattice slightly.
  16. Pour sweet curd,tamarind chutney and coriander chutney. Sprinkle cumin powder.
  17. Now it is ready to be served.
