Ingredients to make Avial

  • curd- 2 cup
  • salt
  • sugar
  • Raw banana (chopped) - 1
  • Brinjal (chopped) - 1/4 th cup
  • carrots - 1/4 th cup
  • Grated coconut- 1/4 th cup
  • For Tadka :
  • ghee/Oil
  • mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Dry red chillies- 2
  • curry leaves- 10
  • Beans- 1/4 th cup

How to make Avial

  1. Cut vegetable ( brinjal, potato, raw banana, beans & carrot ) to same size.
  2. Boil the vegetable along with green peas and salt. Drain out water.
  3. Blend curd with sugar & salt as per taste.
  4. Add boiled vegetables & grated coconut in curd.
  5. make tadka of mustard seeds, red chilli, curry leaves and add in curd. Cool & serve
