ABOUT Lauki raita RECIPE

Its a raita added boiled lauki and spices to make it soothing for tummy in summers as well as tasty with pulav, biryani or paratha.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Lauki (bottle green) grated and boiled 1 small
  2. Curd 500 gms
  3. Garlic 4-5 cloves (crushed and add water 2-3 tsp)
  4. Mint chutney 1 tblspn
  5. Coriander leaves 1 tsp
  6. Dry ingredients :
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Black salt 1/2 tsp
  9. Cumin seeds roasted on tawa and crushed
  10. Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  11. Red chilli powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil water add grated lauki with 1/4 tsp of salt for 5-10 mints.
  2. Take a bowl add curd, garlic water (strain it well)
  3. Put all remaining ingredients one by one.
  4. Finally add boiled Lauki and garnish with roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder, red chilli powder and chopped coriander leaves.
