Lauki Rayta

Ingredients to make Lauki Rayta

  • lauki 500gm
  • hari mirch 1
  • curd 1½ bowl
  • cumin seeds 1tsp
  • rock salt to test
  • Black paper ⅓ tsp
  • chilli flex ¼ tsp
  • coriander chopped 1 tsp

How to make Lauki Rayta

  1. Wash and cut bottlegourd in cubes.
  2. Put in cooker and take 1 whistle.
  3. Let the cooker cool and pressure release itself.
  4. Drain the bottlegourd .Let it cool and grind with chilli in mixer.
  5. Whisk curd.
  6. Add lauki paste to curd.
  7. Add rock salt,cumin powder and chilli flakes.
  8. Serve in serving bowl garnished with coriander leaves.
