Ingredients to make Wheat bread masala dosa

  • 12 bread slices
  • Half cup curd
  • 3/4 cup sooji (semolina)
  • 3 to 4 tbsp rice flour
  • water
  • salt for taste
  • Ingredients for potato masala:
  • 4 to 5 boiled and mashed potatoes
  • mustard and cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tbsp channa dal
  • curry leaves
  • 2 to 3 dry red chillies
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • salt for taste
  • Any cooking oil
  • lime juice

How to make Wheat bread masala dosa

  1. Procedure for potato masala:
  2. Boil potatoes and mash them
  3. Take little oil in vessel and when is heated add mustard, cumin seeds. When they crackle add split black gram and channa dal and fry for few minutes
  4. Add pinch of turmeric, dry red chillies, curry leaves, sliced onions and fry for few minutes
  5. Add boiled mashed potatoes, salt and mix. Finally add little lime juice
  6. Procedure for wheat bread masala dosa: -
  7. Take 12 bread slices. Crumble the bread slices. You can even remove crust of bread slices as per your wish.
  8. Now add 3/4 cup sooji, half cup curd, 3 to 4 tbsp rice flour, little water to crumbled bread and soak for about 20 minutes.
  9. Now blend in blender by adding required water, batter should not be totally runny nor too thick. Add salt to batter and mix
  10. Heat the dosa pan. Now take laddle full of batter and spread on pan in circular motion like normal dosa.
  11. When you see sides turning brown place the potato masala at the centre
  12. Serve hot
