Amla is known as Amrutha Phala.This gooseberry is a herbal medicine in Ayurveda.Those who are feeling can thirsty continuously can take this sharbath to get fast relief. Amla rich in vitamin c and promotes hair growth.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 1 cup amlas (Indian gooseberries)
  2. sugar 1cup
  3. 1/2 Tsp jeera powder
  4. Black salt a pinch
  5. Few tulsi leaves and rose petals
  6. Ice cubes as needed


  1. In a pan, boil enough water and add the amlas, mix well and cook till they become soft.Keep aside to cool and deseed them.
  2. Combine the deseeded amlas with sugar and 1 cup of chilled water in a blender and blend it well.
  3. Transfer the liquid in a bowl, add the cumin seeds powder, salt and mix well.
  4. Add ice cubes in serving glasses and pour the liquid into it.Serve chilled with Tulsi & rose petals.
