Ingredients to make Amla Sharbath

  • 1 cup amlas (Indian gooseberries)
  • sugar 1cup
  • 1/2 Tsp jeera powder
  • Black salt a pinch
  • Few tulsi leaves and rose petals
  • Ice cubes as needed

How to make Amla Sharbath

  1. In a pan, boil enough water and add the amlas, mix well and cook till they become soft.Keep aside to cool and deseed them.
  2. Combine the deseeded amlas with sugar and 1 cup of chilled water in a blender and blend it well.
  3. Transfer the liquid in a bowl, add the cumin seeds powder, salt and mix well.
  4. Add ice cubes in serving glasses and pour the liquid into it.Serve chilled with Tulsi & rose petals.

My Tip:

Use some jaggery powder if you feel more sour taste.
