ABOUT Chawli Fritters RECIPE

Ramzan gives us the strength for the whole year to bear all that life gives us and so does the holy month of Ramadan Karim give us all ideas to cook the best we can for our Iftaar time. My family's favourite Chawli Fritters, very rarely done by bhajia lovers, but is amazing.Try for sure.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 Chawli beans
  2. 1 small onion, chopped
  3. 1 -2green chillies
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1/2 tbsp pepper
  6. 1tbsp Chat masala
  7. Oil to deep fry
  8. Coriander chopped

Instructions

  1. Soak Chawli minimum 6 hours.
  2. Remove all water in collander.
  3. Chop onion and green chillies finely keep aside.
  4. Now grind the Chawli to a coarse paste(no water at all). Add salt pepper and chaat masala.
  5. Add the onion green chillies and corriander mix well.
  6. Now make flat cutlets of the mix.
  7. Deep fry in hot oil.
  8. Start putting these to fry in very hot oil only
  9. Adjust flame to medium for good frying.
  10. Serve with sauce.
