ABOUT Kaali Gajar Ki Kaanji RECIPE

A fermented drink made with black carrots or even the regular carrots .

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Carrots - 1/4 kg
  2. Water - 1 litre
  3. Salt - 2 tsp
  4. Black Salt - 1 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder - according to taste
  6. Roasted Jeera powder - 1 tsp
  7. Mustard powder - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut carrots and transfer them to a glass jar.
  2. Now add water to it.
  3. Add salt, black salt, mustard powder, jeera powder, red chilli powder and stir.
  4. Cover the jar with a lid.
  5. Keep it for 3-4 days till the water gets fermented.
  6. Serve chilled with carrots pieces.
