ABOUT Cabbage Parcel RECIPE

Regular consumption of cabbage or cabbage juice can provide a lot of anti aging benefits to our skin. It is a good source of weight loss. It has vitamin A, C and K. Here is a combination of cabbage and jackfruit.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 3 cabbage leaves for parcel
  2. 1/2 cup grated cabbage
  3. 1/2 cup curd
  4. 3tsp couscous paste
  5. 3tsp coconut paste
  6. 3 green chilli sliced
  7. 3 spring onion strips
  8. 3tsp mustard sauce
  9. 1/2tsp turmeric powder
  10. 3tsp mustard oil
  11. Fried jackfruit pieces
  12. Salt to taste


  1. Take 3 leaves of cabbage for parcel
  2. Jackfruit should be tender
  3. First boil then drain out the excess water. Then fry the jackfruit pieces.
  4. Fried jackfruit should be marinated with curd, grated cabbage, turmeric powder, green chilli, couscous paste, coconut paste, mustard sauce, salt and oil.
  5. Now fold like parcel tie with spring onion strips. Then shallow fry.
  6. Take out the cabbage parcel.
  7. Open the parcel and serve with steam rice.
