Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Curd - 1 cup
  2. Onion finely chopped - 1/2 cup
  3. Garlic - 4 cloves minced
  4. Green chilli - 2
  5. Curry leaves - 4-5
  6. Salt
  7. Haldi - a pinch
  8. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  9. Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  10. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  11. Coriander leaves for garnish
  12. Ghee or oil 1 tbsp
  13. For Roti - Wheat flour - 2 cup
  14. Salt - to taste
  15. Ghee - 1 tsp and water for kneading the dough

Instructions

  1. First prepare soft dough with ingredients listed under Roti.
  2. For Chutney - Whisk the thick curd well.
  3. Chop onion, green chilli and mince garlic.
  4. Heat ghee or oil in a pan and add jeera. When jeera sputters add garlic and curry leaves. Add onion and saute for 2 minutes.
  5. Mix all the chutney ingredients in the whisked curd.
  6. Add curd and stir continuously otherwise it will curdle. Keep the flame low. Switch off after 2 minutes.
  7. For Roti - Knead the wheat flour and make small balls from the dough. With a rolling pin make small rotis or phulkas. Arrange them in a plate, appply some ghee to keep them soft. Garnish the curd chutney and serve hot.
