Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm - Pumpkin
  2. 5 tablespoons - Gram flour
  3. 1 tablespoon - Chopped coriander
  4. 1 tablespoon - Curd
  5. 3-4 - Chopped green chilies
  6. 1/4 inch piece - Ginger
  7. 3 - Garlic Cloves
  8. 1/2 teaspoon - Turmeric powder
  9. 1/2 teaspoon - Chilli powder
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil for frying


  1. Grate the pumpkin add a pinch of salt and set aside for a while, now squeeze to remove all the water.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoon of oil add the finely chopped ingredients and get for half a min.
  3. Add pumpkin gratings, seasonings and salt and cook for another minute. Remove from fire and cool. Add the flour, curd and chopped coriander to the pumpkin mixture. Mix well.
  4. Using a little oil your palm form rolls from the mixture, steam the rolls and set aside to cool. Cut the rolls into two thick slices and form each into a kebab.
  5. Roll the kebab in gram flour and shallow fry in hot oil to golden.
  6. Serve very hot with green chutney.
