Uttapam Pizza

Ingredients to make Uttapam Pizza

  • 3 Cup - Par boiled rice
  • 1 Cup - Split black gram daal
  • 1 teaspoon - fenugreek seeds
  • 1 Cup - Flattened rice
  • 1/2 tablespoon - salt as per taste
  • water to grind
  • 1 - Small onion
  • 1 - Small tomato
  • 1 - Small green capsicum
  • 2 tablespoon - Black olive
  • 4 - Cheese cubes

How to make Uttapam Pizza

  1. Wash rice and rice flakes, soak it separately for 4 hours.
  2. Wash black gram, fenugreek seeds and soak it in water for about 3 hours. Drain water . Grind rice and daal separately
  3. Mix the two pastes and add salt to the batter, mix evenly. The consistency of the batter should neither be thick nor runny.
  4. Slice onion, capsicum and tomatoes.
  5. Heat a frying pan. Put a teaspoon of oil. Spread a ladle of batter thickly. Cover and cook for a minute. Add onion slices and tomato slices, capsicum slices, olives on uttapam.
  6. Now flip uttapam gently and cook another side. Transfer Uttapam to a plate. Garnish with grated cheese and oilves. Serve with tomato ketchup.

You can add any veggies.
