Pork pickle very easy and tasty side dish.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Boneless pork - 250 grams
  2. Dry red chilies - 15
  3. Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  4. turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
  5. cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  6. Dry mango or aamchur powder - 1 teaspoon
  7. Ginger, finely chopped - 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Garlic, finely chopped - 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Curry leave - 2 sprigs
  10. asafoetida or hing - 1/2 teaspoon
  11. vinegar - 1/2 Cup
  12. salt as per taste


  1. Pressure cook boneless pork meat with 2 cups of water for 1 whistle on medium flame. After pressure settles down open the cooker and take out pork in plate. Cut it into small cubes
  2. Boil red chilies and make a thick paste.
  3. In a bowl mix red chilli paste, kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, aamchur powder and marinate the pork for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat two teaspoons of oil in a wok and add chopped ginger, chopped garlic, curry leaves and asafoetida (Hing). Keep stirring and fry till the raw smell goes and now add the marinated pork.
  5. After 2 min of frying over low flame add half cup vinegar and salt as per taste. After 5 minutes remove the wok from gas and cool it completely and put the pork in a glass jar.
