ABOUT Instant Green Chilli Garlic Pickle RECIPE

An instant green chilli pickle that can be stored in refrigerator and used as and when required as a side dish as well.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Small Green chillies 100gms
  2. garlic cloves 8-10
  3. Salt 1 tablespoon or to taste
  4. Mustard oil 1/2 cup
  5. Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Amchur powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Turmeric 1/4 teaspoon
  8. Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Wash, dry and cut the green chillies in 1/2 cm length.
  2. Heat mustard oil in a pan at high heat.
  3. Add garlic cloves to the oil and fry them till golden brown.
  4. Add the chillies and stir fry them for 2 mintues..
  5. Dont let the colour of the chillies change by frying more.
  6. Add all the spices to the chillies and mix thoroughly.
  7. Cool the pickle and bottle it up in a glass jar to store in the refrigerator for use whenever required.
