ABOUT Phalahari Puchka RECIPE

We all love that chatpata flavour of puchka or panipuri,also, many of us have a sweet tooth so I just thought of mixing the two and finally came out a new recipe, phalahari puchka.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 tbsp - Semolina or rava
  2. 1 tbsp - All purpose flour
  3. 2 tsp - Cocoa powder
  4. 1 tsp - Powdered sugar
  5. Pinch of salt
  6. 1/4 Cup - Plain soda
  7. 2 tsp - Oil
  8. Oil for Deep frying
  9. 1 Cup - Chilled mango ras
  10. 1 tbsp - Chocolate sauce for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix well. Add the plain soda with the dry ingredients and mix well.
  2. Add 1 tsp of oil in the end and knead well. Grease the dough with the remaining 1 tsp of oil and keep aside for 5 mins. Cover with the lid.
  3. Take any fruits of your choice and cut them into small cubes. I used bananas.
  4. In a pan heat the oil for frying. On the other hand start rolling out thin chapatis of the dough.
  5. Now with the help of a round cutter cut small puris. Fry them till golden brown.
  6. Chocolate puris or puchkas are ready to go for final Touch. Make a hole in the center and fill in all the puchkas with the fruit.
  7. Top it with chocolate sauce and mango ras. Serve immediately with chilled mango ras.
  8. You can add chopped dry fruits to add richness to the recipe.
