ABOUT Chinese Tikki RECIPE

Infuse the flavours of chinese cuisine into the indian tikki and make this delicious starter under 20 minutes.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled potatoes - 2
  2. Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
  3. Chopped garlic - 1/2 tsp
  4. Chopped green chillies - 1 tbsp
  5. Chopped capsicum - 2 tsp
  6. Chopped spring onions - 1 tbsp
  7. chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
  8. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  9. Bread slices - 1
  10. cornflour - 1 tbsp
  11. Sesame seeds - 1/4 tsp
  12. Refined oil
  13. salt

Instructions

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes and crumble the bread slice into it.
  2. Mix them together nicely so that the bread is completely mixed into the potato mash. Now add rest of the ingredients and mix in to form a dough.
  3. Make small tikkis out of it and let them rest in the fridge for 5 minutes.
  4. Now heat a tawa with little oil and shallow fry the tikkis on both sides and serve.
