Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour - 250 gm
  2. Whole wheat flour - 100 gm
  3. Semolina - 50 gm
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  6. Ghee for moyan (to form crust) - 100 gm
  7. Oil for frying
  8. Carom seeds - 2 tsp
  9. Black pepper, coarsely ground - 1 tsp
  10. Cornflour - 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Take flour in plate. Add salt, turmeric powder, pepper powder and carom seeds. Add ghee and rub it with your fingers.
  2. Bind and kneed a semi soft dough.
  3. Cover and keep it for 10 minutes.
  4. in a small bowl take 1 tbsp of ghee add 1tsp cornflour to it and mix properly.
  5. Now take a little dough and roll it to a disc. Spread cornflour paste and fold it twice.
  6. Roll this triangle and prick from both the sides with a fork. Make all puris like this and keep aside.
  7. Heat oil on medium flame. Once it heats, add the puris one at a time and fry.
  8. Take them out on absorbent paper and serve hot.
