This is a custard and bread based pastry, easy to make and can be served for any occasion.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bread slices 2
  2. Jam 2tsp
  3. Fruits ; [apple , pomegranate,mango , everything must be chopped] 1 cup
  4. For Custard :
  5. Custard powder 1tsp
  6. Milk 1 cup
  7. Sugar 3 tsp
  8. For decoration :
  9. Mint leaves
  10. Drinking chocolate powder

Instructions

  1. To make the custard, boil the milk along with the sugar, and leave a little milk aside prior to that to dissolve the custard powder . Keep the custard powder-milk slurry ready by dissolving the custard powder in the little milk that we had kept aside.
  2. pour this slurry into the boiling milk and keep stirring vigorously so that there are no lumps formed. Once the custard boils, switch off the flame and let it cool down completely.
  3. Discard the edges of the bread slices, place the bread into a dish, pour some custard and arrange the chopped fruits on it.
  4. Cover it with the other piece of bread, apply some jam on it.
  5. Repeat the above procedure and finally lace the top of the bread slice with custard.
  6. Decorate it with fruits , mint leave and drinking chocolate powder. Serve it chilled.
