ABOUT Suji Halwa with Malai RECIPE

Delicious Suji Halwa with less ghee, and instead of ghee, homemade malai is added for extra deliciousness.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. ½ cup suji [semolina]
  2. 2 spoon malai [home made cream]
  3. 2 spoon ghee
  4. Sugar ¼ cup
  5. Water [as required]

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan.
  2. When it is hot, add the malai.
  3. Let the malai melt and mix with the ghee.
  4. Now add the semolina and roast. Keep stirring continuously otherwise it might get burnt.
  5. Roast for 5 minutes on medium flame.
  6. Add ample amount of water.
  7. Add the sugar and mix well. Let the mixture boil and the semolina get cooked.
  8. Serve it hot.
