Chicken Lollipop, hot and spicy made of whole chicken wings, in a mix of Indian and Chinese style.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken wings - 300 gms
  2. Oil as needed for frying
  3. Onion - 1 finely chopped 
  4. Ginger - ½ tsp minced 
  5. Garlic - ½ tsp 
  6. Soya sauce - 1 tsp 
  7. Vinegar - 1 tsp 
  8. Red chili powder - 1 tsp 
  9. Sugar - ½ tsp
  10. Water - ½ cup
  11. Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
  12. For Marination:
  13. Curd - 3 tbsp
  14. Water as required 
  15. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  16. Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  17. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  18. Salt to taste 
  19. corn flour - 2 tbsp


  1. To make the buttermilk, take the Curd in a bowl and whisk it. Add Salt and enough water to cover the chicken. Add chicken to it and soak for atleast 1 hour to tenderize the chicken.
  2. Drain off the buttermilk. Take the marination ingredients except flour and mix well with the chicken. Now add corn flour and salt. Mix thoroughly coating the chicken well with the marination.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the chicken in medium heat until it is cooked and slightly browned. Remove and drain in tissue towel.
  4. Take 1 tsp Red Chilly powder and 2 tsp water and make a paste. Set aside.
  5. Heat 2-3 tsp oil in a pan. Add ginger garlic and saute for a min.
  6. Add onions and saute till onion turns soft. Add vinegar and soya sauce.
  7. Add red chili paste and sugar. Saute just for a min. Add water and cook till the sauce thickens.
  8. Add the chicken and toss well. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
