Dhaba Style Handi Paneer

Ingredients to make Dhaba Style Handi Paneer

  • paneer cubes 200 gm
  • Beaten curd half cup
  • onion 1 sliced
  • tomatoes 2 chopped
  • green chillies 2 chopped
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Dry red chilli 2
  • bay leaves 2
  • salt to taste
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • water 1 cup
  • Fresh cream 1 tsp
  • coriander Leaves chopped 1 tbsp
  • onion tomato, lemon rings to garnish

How to make Dhaba Style Handi Paneer

  1. Heat Oil in Pan and season with bay leaves, dry red chilli
  2. Add slices of onion and cook until onion gets light pink colour.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Fry for about 2 -3minutes.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, black Pepper powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala powder one by one and Cook until tomatoes become tender and flavoured.
  5. Now add the beaten yoghurt to it and keep stirring continuously for about a minute.
  6. Add water and cook until gravy becomes thick
  7. Now add the paneer cubes to it Mix well
  8. Cook for 2-3 mins.
  9. Lastly, add cream stir. switch off the flame
  10. Transfer the contents from the pan to earthen pot
  11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander, Tomato, onion , lemon rings
  12. Handi Paneer ready to eat with Roti/Chapati/Naan

My Tip:

Add 1 tsp Fenugreek leaves in sabzi can replace paneer with tofu..also u can add half bell pepper in sabzi
