ABOUT Tomato ketchup RECIPE

Tomato ketchup is Very useful in all tangi food.like samosa , puffs, kachori ,bhel, chaat, sandwiches ,burgers, even chapathi or bhakhri.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 5 kg tomatoes
  2. 1 medium size beet
  3. 100 gm ginger
  4. Garam masala:(cinnamon +clove + black pepper+starany etc
  5. 400 gm Sugar
  6. salt as per taste
  7. Acetic acid
  8. Sodium benzoate
  9. Sodium benzoate and Acitic acid is optional. You can use 1 bottle (500 ml vinegar )instead of the it .

Instructions

  1. 5 kg tomatoes .cut its in two part.
  2. In pressure cooker add some water and put stand and put that tomatoes and chopped beet (optional its for dark colour of ketchup) like in the pictures.
  3. Without whistle cook it till it's became soft and pill it easily.then chrush in mixture. Make smooth tomato paste.
  4. Now take some whole garam masala like cloves, cinnamon, Black pepper, star any etc and put them in small clothes and make a knot aur make potli of that Masala.
  5. Take ginger and chrush it and put it in clothes and knots it or make potli of it.
  6. Ginger and garam masala potli is ready.
  7. Take kadai and pour tomato paste, ginger and garam masalas potli and sugar and salt .and heat on medium flame. And continuous stir it. Till it became thick.
  8. Remove that potli from it.and completely cool down .then add vinegar or Acitic acid and sodiam benzoate. Mixtur them .
  9. After cooldown pour in jar and keep in the fridge.
  10. Ready....yummy tomato ketchup...very healthy and tasty ....:blush::thumbsup::ok_hand:
