Simple healthy and a tasty laddu. Can be packed as snacks to kids.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Red poha 150gms
  2. Badam [almonds] 50gms
  3. Flax seed powder 3-4 tspn
  4. Cardomom 2
  5. Jaggery (grated)
  6. Ghee 3-4 tbspn

Instructions

  1. Take a pan and add 1 tbspn of ghee. Once ghee melts add red poha and roast it for 4-5 mins on a medium flame and keep it aside
  2. Now dry roast badam and cardamom for 5 mins and keep it aside
  3. Then dry roast flax seed powder for a minute.
  4. Allow them to cool. Meanwhile grate the jaggery and keep it ready.
  5. Once the roasted items cools take them in a blender and grind to a fine powder
  6. Measure the powdered ingredients and add them in a bowl.
  7. Now add grated jaggery. For one cup of powdered mixture add 3/4th cup of jaggery.
  8. Mix well and taste for sweetness. If required add some more jaggery.
  9. Heat 2tbspn ghee and add it to the mixture and make laddus immediately.
